Sockshop do a superb sock 'sockshop & gentle' which unfortunately I cannot find on the website. This sock unfortunately feels quite thin and not as gentle. Comfort is very average for Sockshop. Durability and long life still being assessed but not expected to last as long. Positive is this sock does not slip in any way. I am very rough and heavy on socks so this is probably not the ideal sock for me personally. I will speak to Sockshop because I want to find the 'sockshop & gentle' sock. Exceeded my expectations. My husband has swollen ankles and finds ordinary socks difficult to wear, but these do exactly as described - "gentle grip". They are also a good length, slightly longer than ordinary socks, even when stretched, and stay in place all day.
