The inner terry loop cushioning has been brushed into soft clouds of fibre, and besides making these women's’ boot socks softer next to the skin, the brushed lining makes the socks warmer!
This is because the brushing of the pile increases the socks’ thermal abilities, maximising the body’s warmth by holding more of that warmth in between the extra fibres brushing creates, but without reducing their breathability, so feet don’t get all sweaty. Isn’t science great? These women’s thermal boot socks have smoother toe seams than many boot socks too, so they’re even more comfortable.
