I ordered 1000 mile socks on line as they are not sold by any sports shop in Chelmsford anywhere. The socks were fine except I ordered a man's size 9 (I am a ladies size 7) to ensure a comfy fit, but the ankles were very tight(I do not have big ankles) so had to stretch the socks. However, I will wear them as everything else is fine.

they are for Christmas presents so not used yet.
after wearing them for the first time ( 5 mile walk) turned them inside out to dry and found the stitching on the toe of the inner sock had pulled away. This looks like a manufacturing fault, not caused by use. I require a refund or replacement
Large size seem a little snug for size 9 foot but they fit and are comfortable and I haven't had a blister yet.
Otherwise excellent but they get much smaller after washing,my normal size is M but I ordered XL.
