But unlike ‘normal’ compression socks, these truly international (UK-conceived, US-designed and Italian-made) Atom Milk Socks are made using moisturising, antibacterial milk fibre, extruded from the casein fiber from excess drinking milk — making them both eco-friendly and biodegradable. They share the same pH-balance as your own skin too, so although they’re excess moisture-wicking, they won’t dry out skin.

Offering ankle-to-cuff graduated compression to 18-22mm Hg, British Standard Class II, the socks are also knitted with a micro-massaging 3D knit pattern targeting the foot’s pressure points. To maximise the effect, the socks fit left/right specific (fit indicated on the inside of each cuff). For added comfort, the socks have wider Stay-Put non-restricting cuffs and Smooth Linked Toes for smooth seams, along with reinforced heels. Being made from moisturising milk fibre gives the socks a very distinct silky gloss feel, which also makes them possibly the easiest compression socks to pull on.
