Named for the fierce, unpredictable conditions in the mountains of Lapland, UpHill Sport “Suomu” Mountain 4 Layer H5 Socks are made to cope with the demands of mountaineering, hiking and trekking, or participating in snow sports in hard, ever-changing cold conditions. Designed with a four-layer structure, these socks are highly-thermally efficient and breathable, yet maintain a medium thickness that lowers bulk and tightness in boots.
The merino wool-rich, multilayer structure holds warm air to insulate, while transferring moisture away from the skin, keeping your feet both warm and dry. The socks are designed to dry swiftly and do not absorb sweat and smell.
The socks are calf length, with the shaft’s knit constructed to stay up on the leg even during sustained activity. The foot section has a terry loop Merlot sole, a fitted heel, elastane grip arch for mid-foot support and wrinkle-free wear, and a seamless toe for anti-blister protection. Taking action against perceived cruel farming practices, Uphill Sport use only mulesing free merino wool.
